Learn how to delete a contract or the transactions created by it.
Expiry/ update of contract
Contracts automatically enter recurring payment claims against your customers/contacts in their tabs, as long as they are active.
When the contract expires it ceases to generate transactions.
To end the contract:
- Select "Edit" on the contract you wish to edit
- Disable the ''Active'' option
- Press save
After the contract expires, you cannot edit it or activate the same contract.
Contracts are entered in the customer/contact tab and are displayed in the cash overview along with the other billable transactions and their payments.
Deletion of contract/ contract transactions
To delete the transactions related to a contract (expired/deleted):
- Click "View" on the contract you wish to view
- From the "Action Option"
- Select "Delete related transactions"
- And select the ▷ button
Alternatively, you can delete the transactions associated with the contract by selecting the option "Delete associated transactions" from the contract processing form and clicking "Save".
To delete an expired contract, select "Delete" from the main list of contracts.
